Beautiful purple velvet Spring hat in a soft violet velvet fabric with two tiers topped with an elaborately stitched netting on the top and a bird cafe style netting that can be drawn over the eyes in front. To be worn perched on the top of the head with the aid of two comb pins attached to the hat. This is believed to be either late 1950s or early 1960s and is in excellent vintage condition.
