A favorite of the lighthouse keeper at Carmanah point on the West Coast Trail for many years. Hikers can feel a little safer knowing the wardens wake up to this bright, smooth blend every morning. This is a darker roast that brings out richer notes of roasted walnut and bittersweet chocolate. While not appearing too dark or oily, this coffee has all the pleasant roasty notes you look for in a darker coffee, with great balance and a lingering chocolatey aftertaste.
